I'm thrilled to be joining the cast of Ancram Opera House's production of Invasion! by Jonas Hassen Khemiri. Originally produced in Sweden, Invasion! made its way to NYC in 2011 where it won an Obie Award. The show follows a mysterious Arab name on a game of telephone and explores the way the west interacts with immigrants, particularly those of Middle Eastern descent. Invasion! runs August 5th – 21st. I'm deeply honored to be joining the Advisory Board of Donkeysaddle Projects, an incredible organization that I've had the pleasure of working with in the past as an actor. DSP's mission is to use art/storytelling for communal political education, to challenge injustice in all of its manifestations, to connect movements, and to nurture radical imagination.
