Biography

Ali Andre Ali is an actor and musician of Palestinian and Irish descent based in New York. Originally from Newburyport, Masachusetts, he is a graduate of NYU Tisch's Experimental Theater Wing and studied Shakespeare at RADA in London.

​As an actor he has worked regionally and with numerous New York based companies. Theatre credits include HOME/LAND (NYC Parks), Serials (The Tank) Cymbeline (RADA), Invasion! (Ancram Center for the Arts), One Night (Target Margin) Sonntags wird gelogen Or We Only Lie On Sundays (Local Grandma/The Brick), American Dreams (Working Theater/Roundhouse), 10,000 Balconies (TheatreSquared), and Eh Dah? Questions for my Father (Next Door @NYTW). His TV credits include “Ramy” and “The Food That Built America."

As a musician he writes and performs with his music duo fajjr+ali. They have performed around the country as well as in Canada and their music is available on all major streaming platforms. He also narrates audiobooks and is a two-time Audie Award finalist for his work alongside the ensembles of Tracy Flick Can't Win by Tom Perrotta and Heartwood by Amity Gaige.

Ali is on the advisory board of Donkeysaddle Projects, an arts and activist organization that works towards building a liberated world free from state violence in all its manifestations.
