 I'm excited to be working with Noor Theatre again on their works-in-progress presentations of their newest commissions. I will be performing in two of the pieces: a new piece by Arian Moayed and a new musical by Mike Mosallam, Avi Amon, and Danny Bryck.  I'm excited to jump back into work with Target Margin Theater in their exploration of tales from the One Thousand and One Nights. In October we had the chance to develop work based on the story of "Julnar of the Sea." Next we will be tackling "The Story of the Porter and the Three Sisters." All of this work is a continuation of TMT's seasons long exploration of The Nights and will culminate in 2021 in a massive retelling event. Stay tuned!
I'm excited to be working with fellow Arab-American artist Chloé Hayat on a reading of her play His Majesty, Herself. The play is about the rise of the female Pharaoh Hatshepsut and her years in power. More info on the reading can be found here.
