The event will feature artists from a variety of disciplines as we come together to imagine a brighter future.  I'm honored to be reading some original work at The People's Forum for the event From Shakespeare to Gaza. The evening will be featuring a number of performances in support of Ashtar Theatre in Palestine. In lieu of tickets guests are asked to donate to the theater's Psycho-Social Relief Intervention Program. I'll be reading some work inspired by my trips to Palestine as a youth as well as in my 20s.  I'm grateful to be able to come together in artistic community during this difficult time for many. On February 16th, I'll be joining a group of artists at The People's Forum to share music, poetry and more as we aim to bring awareness to what is happening in Gaza, and push for peace for all. I'll be reading some original work based on my previous visits to Palestine. More information can be found here.
 On March 16th, fajjr+ali will be teaming up with Poetic Theater Productions once again to perform at their Poetic Lyricism event. The event is a collaboration with Music Theatre Factor and will feauture original work created during the Songsmith Lab, a collaboration between Poetic Theater and MTF, alongside a number of featured performers. We are excited to be sharing a new original song Behabek. More information can be found here.
 On January 15th, fajjr+ali will be teaming up once again with Undiscovered Countries, an arts incubator which produces bi-monthly variety shows of new work. We are excited to return with some more of our original music alongside plays, stand up routines and new music. Check out more about Undiscovered here: https://engardearts.org/  On Sunday, November 4th, my band fajjr+ali will make our Pianos debut in the Lower East Side. We are super excited to perform a full set of our original music at this New York staple. The show will also take place on my birthday, so what better way to help me celebrate than come out and support us! Tickets are $8 and can be purchased online or at the door!
 I'm thrilled to perform with my band fajjr+ali at Performing Arts Mosaic a second time. We will be playing as a musical guest alongside their open mic event at HI Hostel in the Upper West Side on September 14th at 7pm.
 I'm excited to announce the release of my band fajjr+ali's third single, Spacewalk. Spacewalk is the first release from our LA recording sessions with Grammy winning producer Shafiq Husayn. Check out the single on your favorite streaming platform by clicking here!
 My band fajjr+ali will be returning to Rockwood Music Hall for a full set of our original music. Come get a sneak peak at our upcoming EP on Sunday November 19th at 3pm as we perform with our full band.
 After performing at the IC Professionals' Muslims Unscripted event, my duo fajjr+ali was invited to participate in the Muslim Writers Collective collaboration with The Muslim Protagonist at their Open Mic Night at Columbia University. Join us as we share a couple of our original songs this Friday at 7pm.
