 Over the next two weekends I'll be performing in The Flea Theatre's staple show Serials. #serials@theflea brings 5 episodic plays together for a weekend of performances. The audience votes on their favorites and the top 3 shows at the end of the weekend get to return for the next installment of their story. Come check out the last two cycles of 2017!

 My band fajjr+ali will be returning to Rockwood Music Hall for a full set of our original music. Come get a sneak peak at our upcoming EP on Sunday November 19th at 3pm as we perform with our full band.
 After performing at the IC Professionals' Muslims Unscripted event, my duo fajjr+ali was invited to participate in the Muslim Writers Collective collaboration with The Muslim Protagonist at their Open Mic Night at Columbia University. Join us as we share a couple of our original songs this Friday at 7pm.
 fajjr+ali will be performing at Housing Works Bookstore as part of the IC Professionals' Muslims Unscripted series. Fajjr and I met through the Islamic Center at NYU, and we are thrilled to collaborate with the IC Professionals for the first time. Come check us out as we perform a few originals on Wednesday November 17th at 7pm.
 My music duo fajjr+ali had the pleasure of performing some of our original music in Canada this last week at the request of renowned Muslim scholar Dr. Ingrid Mattson. Dr. Mattson was hosting a community forum with a local politician in order to inspire more communication between politicians and their constituents. We had a great time and can't wait to go back!
 I'm excited to return to Cereals at The Flea Theater. Cereals brings 5 children's stories to life in episodic format for young audiences. We are now on episode 2 of these culturally specific stories. Performances are Saturdays and Sundays at 11am and 1pm from November 11th through the 19th. I'll be performing in Fatima and her Pigeon as well as The Lorikeet. Come check it out and bring your little ones!
