Gaza 5K

On Saturday, March 24th, I will be running in the Gaza 5K at Prospect Park. The run/walk is sponsored by UNRWA USA which supports the work of UNRWA, the UN organization in charge of aiding Palestinian refugees. Proceeds from the race will go towards UNRWA's Community Mental Health Programme (CMHP) to help empower vulnerable refugees in Gaza, especially children, to better cope with the extreme challenges they face on a daily basis. I'm excited to be running my first 5K in 10 years for such an amazing cause.
